Utah Council of Professional Geologists (UCPG)

TRUSTEES & OFFICERS

In September 2001, the Board of Trustees for the UCPG was established by the Articles of Incorporation filed with the State of Utah. The Articles named five trustees, three of whom acted as Acting Officers until elections were held. The Bylaws Committee developed Bylaws that were ratified by the voting members in March 2002. Bylaws outlined the procedure for elections and define the officers of the UCPG. The initial election was also held in March 2002, since which time the Executive Committee consists of elected officers, as well as at least three members, who also serve on the Board of Trustees. In addition, the committees for Newsletter and Bylaws were created to facilitate the operations of the UCPG. Contacts are listed below.
